Cinnamon Toast Crunch Yogurt Taste Test Comparison

In our quest to try everything that is Cinnamon Toast Crunch (seriously, check it out), I came upon yet another new item. Cinnamon Toast Crunch Yogurt! Will this be as delicious as the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Ice Cream? Or a bit of a dud like the CTC Treat Bars? Let's give it a taste and find out!

This yogurt is made by Yoplait and promises to be Cinnamon Vanilla flavored. Yum! That sounds like it could be good!

Twix Cookie Dough and Milky Way Cookie Dough Taste Test Comparison

One of the special treats in life is getting to enjoy things you really shouldn't eat. I think Cookie Dough tops the list of my favorite treats that you're really not supposed to eat raw, given that it has eggs and uncooked flour in it. But it's just so good that it's hard to resist!

So, when some of our favorite candy bars came out with a special Cookie Dough flavor that you're actually allowed to eat, of course we've got to give this a try! And we always like to compare it with the real thing. In this case, the cookie dough from Pillsbury is safe to eat raw! Let's go!

Today we will be trying Twix Cookie Dough, Milky Way Cookie Dough, and comparing them to Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

2024 Fall Foliage Trip to New York - Bowman Orchards - 2024/10/02

It's Fall and Jacob and the Flowers' family have all headed up to New York to celebrate the fall foliage! One way to get into the fall spirit is to go to an apple orchard! There's one along the way and we've actually been to it before during our first year of RVing! We parked the RV in their lot, as they were a Harvest Host. It's Bowman Orchards

2024 Fall Foliage Trip to New York - 2024/10/01

Fall is here and there's a chill in there air! At least that's what we hear. We're from Florida and it's still 85F and obnoxious humidity. So if we're going to get that "fall feeling" we're definitely going to need to head North!

Theresa really been looking forward to fall foliage this year, along with all the things that go along with it. Apple orchards, picking apples, tasty snacks, and a few other surprises along the way. And we've got a friend coming along too! Jacob is joining us on our big fall adventure!

2024 Mountain Dew VooDEW Taste Test

It's nearing Halloween which means it's time once again for the annual Mountain Dew Mystery VooDEW flavor to come out! Since 2019, we've been treated to a new surprise flavor every October! What will it be this year? (Thank you Jacob for finding it in stores!)

In 2019, we had Candy Corn flavor VooDEW
Alli - That tasted like Chapstick.

What will this year bring us?

Cheddar Garlic Biscuit taste test and comparison - Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Red Lobster, and Homemade!

It's time for another yummy taste test!
I sometimes get asked where I come up with my different taste test ideas. Taste test ideas can come from pretty much anywhere. Friends, advertisements, or just walking down the aisles of the grocery store. This particular one came as a result of NOT being able to find something that I was always used to buying.

Every once in a while, I like to make a night-time snack of garlic cheddar biscuits. I'm used to seeing the $1 bag of Betty Crocker drop biscuit mix, but for some reason, couldn't find it in the grocery store. Instead I was seeing this new Pillsbury bag. And then another more expensive option of Red Lobster biscuits. Hmm.

And so, during my summer travels, I was always keeping an eye out for the Betty Crocker biscuit mix. It looks like it's a regional thing because I finally found them while in California. I gathered everything I found over the summer and then when I got back to Colorado decided we'd figure out once and for all which one is better!
And, because I like making things myself at home too, I decided to see if I could also throw something together quickly with ingredients I had at home that could compete with the national brands.
