Disneyland After Dark

 Time for the 2nd half of our Disneyland visit!

One of our favorite parts of Halloweentime at Disneyland are the pumpkins and pumpkin carvers back at the Big Thunder Ranch.  Theresa and I got off work a little early and drove out to Disneyland to see them. 

Last Days visiting Disney World with Ruston and Jacob

Even though we still weren't quite adjusted to Florida time, we got up early to head to the Magic Kingdom.

Day 3, 4, and 5 at WDW

Sadly both Theresa and I got what we suspect was food poisoning from Les Chefs des France.  We were all eating pretty much the same food as Ruston and Jacob except for the French Onion soup.  Both of us had that and both of us weren't feeling great.  
Day 3 was spent inside the hotel room for the whole day.
Day 4 around noon, I was starting to feel better, so I headed to Downtown Disney with Ruston and Jacob.  Theresa stayed back in the room, but when we learned we could go to the Company D store (discount employee store) she ventured out.

Day 2 - Disney World with Ruston and Jacob

Our 2nd day at Disney World was spent mostly at Epcot.  We had reservations at Le Cellier late and we were still on West Coast time, so we rolled up to Epcot around 11am.

Last year we all went to Tokyo together.  We had a great time at Tokyo Disneyland.  This year we decided to visit Disney World in Florida.  We booked the same flights on Sunday and left California bright and early.

After the race, Rita and I drove home to shower off while Theresa and Aubrey stayed the park.

7th annual Disneyland Half Marathon

Remember what I said about getting up early?  Yeah, after going to bed after midnight, we were up at 3:30am.  Disney suggested getting to the parking garage before 4:30am.  We left the house at 4am and rolled up to the garage right at 4:30.  With a 5:45am start we had a little while to wait.

Only a day before the race.  How best to prepare?  Why not hang out at the beach?

One of our favorite parts of the end of the summer is having John Williams coming out to conduct the LA Philharmonic.  This is our 8th year in a row coming to see him!  This year Jonathan, Lacey, Steph and Farman joined us.
