Christmas in Michigan - 11/24/12

Since we're all going to be apart for Christmas, on Saturday we all had an early Christmas celebration.

The Henry Ford Museum in Michigan - 11/21/12

We had a free day before Thanksgiving and Donald was off work.  He asked if we'd like to go to the Henry Ford Museum and we jumped at the chance!

Rise of the Guardians

It's the middle of the week and what better way to get over hump day than to head to dinner and a movie after work.
After I finished work, Theresa swung by to pick me up and we had dinner at our of our favorite Greek places, Daphnes.  Surprisingly on a Wednesday night at 6pm, we were the only people there.  

Sadly they don't have their rotisserie chicken anymore, but I tried they gyros and they were tasty.  Theresa enjoys their grilled shrimp and chicken skewers.  Not only that, but their pita is very tasty!

As for the movie, I didn't have very high hopes going into it.  We got to the theater 20 minutes early and were the only one in the theater until the previews started rolling.  

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the movie!  It was funny, had a great story, great voice acting and it looked beautiful.  I give it an 8!  Plus it was an enjoyable night out with Theresa!

Thanksgiving in Michigan - 11/22/12

We're up in Michigan for Thanksgiving this year.  With Chi, Rita, Amy and Donald cooking, we've got lots of yummy food!

Jacob's Birthday Celebration - 11/17/2012

Way back in October, we asked Jacob what he wanted to do for his birthday.  We decided a trip to San Diego to the zoo would be fun.  As the day got closer though, the weather wasn't cooperating so we changed it to the California Science Center at USC.  
What's so special about the California Science Center?  It's got the Space Shuttle Endeavour!  From left to right, it's Jim, Ryan, Jacob, T and myself.

Relaxing day in Gatlinburg 10/25/2012

After going on hikes the first couple days, we figured we'd enjoy a nice relaxing day at the cabin.

Dream Suite Reunion 9/22/12

It's been a few months since we all got to visit the Dream Suite, so we figured we should meet up with everyone again to stay in touch.

Theresa and I had to work on Monday morning, but we got off early to meet up with everyone at the parks.  The night before, I found all my Christmas hats and set them out for people to grab.  It was a pleasant surprise to see everyone wearing one.

Disneyland Day 2

It's Sunday and we're headed back to Disneyland!

The day started at the LA landmark, Randy's Donuts.  The whole crew drove up there while Macy slept and I held down the fort.
