Golden Horseshoe Revue and a few more night shots at Disneyland

On Monday, Theresa and I headed back to Disneyland to take one more shot at seeing the Golden Horseshoe Revue.
Last week when we were here taking photos, we spoke with Stephanie and she said if we came back today, she might be able to get us in to watch it.  We arrived around 6pm and sure enough, Stephanie was there along with her manager Mike (who we also saw last week).  Stephanie was the one who helped me out with the shots of the Golden Horseshoe last week.  As a thank you, I printed out an 8x12 for her and Mike.

While we were waiting, I took a few photos of the waterfront.

Plus a look at the petrified tree.

And then it was time!  Mike said that we could be his guests and led us up into the the choir section at the back of the theater.
This show is part of the Limited Time Magic going on at Disneyland.  It was only around for 4 weeks and tonight is the last night.  We actually attended the very last show!  The Revue is a tribute to the original that ran for over 30 years from 1955 to 1986.

It started with the Can-Can girls.

There was actually a lot of the Can-Can girls.

Then out came our hostess for the evening, Miss Lilly.

She was a bit of a flirt, but everyone was laughing and having a great time.

There were a few musical numbers including "Belly Up to the Bar."  And here I thought that was just a phrase Jon and Jess used.

We all had a great time watching the show and it seemed like everyone who was there did too.

Thanks Mike for helping us get in to see it!

After the show, we went walking around a little bit.  I decided I wanted a few more nighttime shots while Theresa and Jacob went to ride Winnie the Pooh and Haunted Mansion.
I decided to try for a shot of Splash Mountain.

And then I tried a shot of the Court des Anges in New Orleans Square.  It is inspired by the shot by Tom Bricker.  I still need a little bit more practice.

We headed back over to the Golden Horseshoe and got some photos while it was mostly empty.  Just us and the cast members left. It's difficult to tell from the photo, but the upper balcony is shaped like a horseshoe.

A couple pictures of the stage.

And because it was mostly empty, I also tried for a 360 shot.

Thank you Mike and your entire cast for the helping support a fun show.
