Ice Skating at the Toyota Sports Center

Eliza offered to take us ice skating on Saturday at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.  It's where the LA Kings practice.  Theresa and I can't even remember the last time we've been ice skating (maybe 12 or more years ago?), so we were excited to try it out again.

We never even knew this place existed so close to us.

It started out a little shaky.  The first lap or so started by holding on to the wall.

But before too long, we were doing great!  Theresa said this is probably her 3rd time ice skating ever!

Chris showed up with Jack after a little while.  So that meant that every 3rd lap or so, we would stop by the wall and wave and smile.

He was in a good mood.

I even did some backwards skating. 

But it started getting really crowded.  You were dodging and weaving around people the whole time and it was too much.

So we took off and headed to Five Guys Burgers and Fries for lunch.  They have really tasty burgers.

And can you believe it, Eliza and Chris have never been to Pinkberry?  We had to go have dessert.

No frozen yogurt for Jack, but he likes playing with the spoons.

It was a great Saturday!
