After seeing the great Treasures of the Disney Archives exhibit at the Reagan Library, it was time to check out the Ronald Reagan side of the library. We've only got 45 minutes until Ruston has to leave, so we'll be moving fast.
Showcasing all the tales and adventures of Joe, Theresa, Ian, and Alli Flowers.

Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at the Reagan Library Pt2

Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at the Reagan Library Pt1
There's nothing like waiting until the last minute to visit the Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives exhibit at the Ronald Reagan Library just outside Los Angeles.
The exhibit has been there since July 6th, 2012 and would be leaving April 30th, 2013. Well, after talking to the Club 33 member the day before, they convinced us that we should visit before it's gone. That only left Sunday for us to see it before it's gone forever.
Jacob, Theresa and I carpooled together and we all met Ruston up there.

Happy Birthday Donald! We're celebrating at iFly!
Donald and a few other pastors are visiting from Michigan for a conference this week. It happens to be Donald's birthday and Theresa and I wanted to surprise him with a gift he would always remember.
We kept it a secret the entire time until finally we arrived at the Universal Studios City Walk.
We walked by some of the shops of the City Walk then started angling over towards iFly, the indoor skydiving. Donald finally knew what his gift was!

The hummingbird babies have hatched and are getting big!
The last time I wrote about our visiting mama hummingbird, she had a nest and two eggs. You can see more of those pictures here.
I'm not sure when exactly they hatched but on March 30th we had these tiny little birds and great big mouths looking up at us. See how big the are in relation to the nest. They're pretty tiny.

I've got a pocket full of quarters at Disneyland. Let's have some fun spending them!
So we're always trying to figure out new ways to discover Disneyland. Today we're exploring a few of the things you can buy with quarters at the Disneyland Resort.
Princess Fantasy Faire - Clopin's Music Box
Theresa and I were back at Disneyland today and took a closer look at Clopin's Music Box.
I had previously written about it here where I showed various characters in the background. Well today we found one more!
Here's the music box that I didn't get a full size picture of last time.
And look who else we found. Not just Tinker Bell. A Tinker Bell that is a full sized and I'm not seeing fairy wings on her back.

Responding to Marissa in the comments: At first I was thinking it was one of the guards from Hunchback of Notre Dame, but when I put the two pictures together, I'm not so sure.

A Walt Disney weekend with Ruston and Jacob
I'm not sure how long ago it was, but Ruston got the idea in his head that we should tour around Los Angeles and explore all the places where Walt Disney spent any time. Theresa, Jacob and I thought that would be an awesome idea and Ruston set off to start planning it. We've been to plenty of Disney parks around the world, but we've never explored the roots of where it all started from right in our backyard. Sure we've heard about all these places and seen them in pictures, but reading about them and actually visiting them are totally different things.
On March 23th, we all piled into Ruston's car to start our adventure.

Indiana Jones and the Adventure of Archaeology part 1
Am I a fan of the Indiana Jones movies? Please allow my 15 year old self to answer that. So when I read that an Indiana Jones exhibit would be coming to the Discovery Science Center, I knew we had to go visit.
