Disneyland with Ruston and Jacob - Club 1901

It's a sunny Saturday afternoon and we're back at Disneyland with Ruston and Jacob.

Not only that, but we were invited back to Club 1901. Our last visit here felt like it all went by too fast.  The members who invited us last time asked us to join them again, and of course we jumped at the chance.

Last time someone was wondering where the entrance to Club 1901 was. As you look at the entrance to the Carthay Circle restaurant, you'll see three identical doors. The door to the far right is the entrance to Club 1901.

We arrived at 2pm and ordered some drinks. I had a very tasty Wildberry Lemonade, while Theresa got a half lemonade half iced tea.

Ruston didn't learn from what I did last time and ordered the Rose soda. I didn't really like it at all, but he didn't seem to mind it. Our hosts suggested he try to candied rose petal that is included with the drink. That he agreed was pretty gross.

I didn't go crazy with photos this time. We actually spent almost 3.5 hours talking about some of our fun adventures, including our 2 week trip to Japan, some of their trips, and other fun experiences we've had.
From 2pm to 5pm, we were the only group inside the club.

Something I didn't happen to get a photo of last time, the men's bathroom.

As we were leaving, we happened to see someone we recognized. Leandra! We weren't sure if she recognized us or not, but as soon as she saw us, and without even a word from us, she said "Ruston!".

Leandra was one of our overnight hostesses when the four of us stayed at the Disneyland Dream Suite in July of 2012. You can read all about our 2 hour after hours tour here.

Thank you so much to the Club members who invited us to join them. We had a great time.

Ruston had to run, but Theresa, Jacob and I headed to an all-you-can-eat dinner at the Big Thunder Ranch BBQ. Now this is my kind of dinner! A big bucket of unlimited meat! It comes with chicken, ribs, and sausage, plus sides like corn on the cob, cornbread, beans, and slaw. My favorite though is the sausage, and when they come around to give you more, you can request just sausage!  It's awesome!

Another fun trip for the four of us!

  1. That wildberry lemondae looks delicious!! I'm hoping I might be able to meet up with a member during Dapper Day in September to visit 1901, but either way I'm thinking Carthay Circle needs to be on my To Do list since it'll be the last baby-free trip in who knows how long. I've also been meaning to try Big Thunder Ranch BBQ! At least I can live vicariously through your blog posts until then. :-P
