Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend medals and shirts

Let's take a closer look at the medals.

 First off, the event program and my runner's bib.

The 10K medal.

With a Stormtrooper on the front.

Plus the shirt you get.

The Half Marathon medal. The lanyard looks like Chewbacca's bandolier. Also the lanyard says Inaugural, though the medal does not.

The medal design is a little obscure. Not nearly as recognizable as the 10K.

It's based on the Medal of Bravery that Princess Leia gives Han and Luke at the end of A New Hope.

The back.

Along with the shirt.

The Rebel Challenge medal is pretty cool. You can either wear it this way and show off your dark side. The lanyard looks to be Darth Vader's colors.

And the center features Vader.

Or you can flip the lanyard and show off your light side. These are more Yoda's colors.

And the center spins around to reveal Yoda.

The back.

And the shirt.

All three medals together. I think my favorite is the 10K.

Not a bad haul.
