And they were able to meet Alli for the very first time!
Ooh, Gram brought Ian some books!
And for Alli, Gram made her her own quilt! Every quilt she's made us, has an inscription on it. It says "Allison Lynn Flowers, October 16, 2015, Love Gram & Pop Pop'. It's surrounded by a quote from A.A. Milne. "When we can't be together, keep me in your heart. I'll stay there forever."
Alli spending time with Gram.
Aww.
After that first sponge bath, I would have thought she hated baths. This was her very first regular bath, and she really liked it!
All clean!
Thanks Mommy!
Bedtime stories with Pop Pop.
We had initially planned to celebrate his birthday on Saturday, but after getting a pretty high fever, we postponed for a day. Unfortunately that meant that some of the people we'd invited before couldn't make it. Well we'll have a party with both sets of grandparents and Jacob instead!
A Mickey Mouse plate for him to use from now on!
T asked him what kind of cake he wanted for his birthday and he said blue cake!
Sharing the icing with daddy's nose.
Ian really loved this present.
A Google Cardboard! Seriously, this is a really cool toy. It's virtual reality and Ian's got it down.
From Jacob, some Jake and the Neverland Pirates Lego! Very nice.
Gram and Pop Pop got him a really neat retro toy. His very own record player!
A Mickey Mouse table and chairs from Grammy and Grandpa. They certainly know what he likes.
Someone found a comfortable position.
She's going to get spoiled by being held so much.
Ian actual birthday was during the middle of the week. I got off work early so we could spend more time together. Ian loved all the FaceTime phone calls and video messages
He's really been into Toy Story lately and loved his Buzz Lightyear from Uncle Patrick and Aunt Megan.
And liked the box too.
I'm Buzz Lightyear. I come in peace.
The next day, we got a visit from Uncle Jon!
All his kids drew pictures for Ian and Alli.
Alli probably spent 2 hours sleeping on Uncle Jon.
I'm pretty sure she's getting enough to eat.
Ian loves holding Alli.
On Saturday we had another party and invited more friends over.
Hi Hannah!
After chili dogs it was time to have cake! We all sang to Ian first.
Then sang Happy Birthday to Ruston next! Both he and Ian were born on Nov 11th.
The Mickey shaped sprinkles are the best part.
A fun party. Time for presents!
A BB-8 plush! Thanks Uncle Ruston. Ian loves him, and especially likes repeating his name.
A musical piano book.
The tent was a big hit.
And even better it connects to his tunnel!
Birthday boys!
Dancing with sister.
Opening more presents.
Nice, a $2 bill for a 2 year old little boy.
What's for breakfast the next day?
Leftover birthday cupcakes! Yay!
