Bring Your Own Cup Slurpee day

Once again, it's Bring Your Own Cup Slurpee day at 7/11! Back in March they did the same thing, and I filled up a 2 gallon kitchen pot with it! They changed the rules on me a little this year, so I had to re-think my container.

Alli was napping, so Ian and I went by ourselves.

Previously your cup just had to pass through the 10" diameter hole. This time, it has to fit through the same hole, but it has to go through upright. That kitchen pot I had last time wouldn't make it upright, so this time I'm using a plastic food container.

Whoa. That's a lot of Slurpee. I asked Ian was flavor he wanted, and of course it's blue raspberry. I filled as much as I could and then the machine just wouldn't put out any more. We'll fill the rest with cherry.

Someone is happy. The manager was working the register said a lot of people had come by with containers, but Ian was the cutest. He pulled out his cell phone to take a photo and gave him a big smile and said "Thanks for the Slurpee!"

Oh yeah! We love BYOC Slurpee Day!
