Along with noise horns, party hats and glasses, the kids had a bunch of balloons and signs they made.
Can't forget the treats. Alli and Ian helped make chocolate dipped strawberries, pretzel sticks, and made sure everyone had plenty of sparkling apple juice for the new year.
And 2020 just happens to be the very first New Year that the kids have been able to celebrate at the right time! Normally we'd be in California, where bedtime is much earlier. But with the 3 hour time difference to Michigan, they were able to stretch bedtime out a little longer and be awake for the midnight ball drop.
And the kids loved celebrating and blowing those horns. Happy New Year!
:-) :-) :-) Happy New Year!!!! What a festive time with lots of horn blowing, balloon volleyball, and treats (those are HUGE chocolate-dipped strawberries!) Ian really liked ushering in the New Year since he didn't have to sleep :-)...that was cute. EOM
