We love trying all sorts of new Oreo treats. This one though might be one of the best! An Oreo frozen dessert!
Our RV freezer doesn't get the temperature low enough for these to be frozen solid, so we knew we'd have to eat them as soon as we got to the truck for them to taste the best.
I guess technically they are just Oreo Sandwiches, not Oreo Ice Cream Sandwiches, because it doesn't have enough dairy fat in it to be called ice cream.
Oreo cookie pieces and giant Oreo wafers. As long as the middle tastes like the creme filling I don't know how this can be anything but delicious.
The kids were big fans. It wasn't long before they had theirs out of the wrappers and were happily munching away.
I love the giant size Oreo cookies on each side. They even got the Oreo pattern in the cookie. And unlike most ice cream sandwiches I've had, these cookies actually stayed crunchy!
I might say it was more like Oreo Cookie dust inside the frozen treat instead of cookie pieces, but it still all checks out.
Sounds like a yummy Oreo Sandwich treat. So did the middle have that "oreo creme" taste? Looks like a hefty middle between the two cookies...have to open the mouth wide for that "full" bite :-) EOM
ReplyDeleteThe regular Oreo Creme doesn't have a super strong flavor, more just a creamy milky taste. This vanilla/cookie 'n cream ice cream in the middle tasted pretty good. It was close enough for us!
