July 4th Manitou Incline Hike

 It’s a beautiful day to hike on America’s Mountain! Today I got up early to hike the Manitou Incline with my dad Mickey and brother Patrick. 

We got an early start, leaving the house before 5am!

The deer are already out exploring the city. 

Parked in the Barr Trail lot and walked over to the start of the Incline. 

All before sunrise!

Ready to start our hike!

Whew! Between the legs and the lungs, this is not an easy hike! These 2768 steps to the top are hard earned.

But we made it! Happy Fourth of July!

I got many compliments and fist bumps for my outfit today. The hat came all the way from Disneyland Paris!

Coming down the Barr Trail we’ve got a beautiful view of Colorado Springs.

What a way to start our morning!
