Six Flags New England Pt 2 - Connecticut - 2024/08/07

Let's continue on with our summer travel from 2024.

We're in Connecticut so I supposed we should do at least something while we're in this state. Like... Chuck E Cheese!

Having the Summer Fun Pass made it easy to pop in and play whatever games we felt like.

This guy is a crossbow master!

And T liked that they had an Avengers Coin Pusher.

Second best ticket bonus! Woo!

But our day isn't just going to be Chuck E Cheese. We're excited to do even more fun things!
Theresa is dropping us off at Six Flags New England while she heads down the road to Planet Fitness. Just me and the kids for a while!

Yes! What should we do first!?!

Ah, lunch, right. Fueling up before we hit all the big coasters. Get a little something in our stomachs before turning them upside down.
Ian opted for the pizza, but he's coming to realize that he doesn't seem to like Six Flags pizza, at any of their parks so far. Too doughy, and he thinks it's undercooked.

I found this really good Philly Cheesesteak place I wanted to try yesterday. It was so good!

Not put off by the small portions, Alli wanted the Lo Mein noodles from yesterday, not really caring what meat they put along with it. She tried the broccoli beef, but wasn't impressed.

Time for rides!

Like the Supergirl Sky Flyer that spins you in a circle so fast that you can go upside down!

And the Gotham City Gauntlet.

A wild mouse type coaster that really reminded me of Goofy's Sky School at Disney California Adventure.

Except I felt especially thrown around. I didn't want to do this one again. And it was odd they wouldn't let us all sit in the same cart, but split us into two.

Want to try the Catwoman Whip?

It was a kiddie coaster that wouldn't let you sit in the back 8 rows. It was fine for what it was, but nothing too memorable.

Now that we've got the big rides out of the way, let's go on some of the rides we loved. Like Harley Quinn again!

And The Joker! The lines today have been great!

Theresa is back!

The SkyScreamer is always a good way to get a great view of the park.

At one point, it was the highest swing ride in the world, standing at 408 feet tall! It was succeeded by a tower in Orlando in 2018 that reaches 450 feet in the air!

Theresa, what did you find? Oh my. Bacon Cheddar Ranch french fries? Those look delicious.

The Thunderbolt is the oldest coaster in the park, opening in 1941. It's the second oldest coaster of any Six Flags park.

Ian - There's a fruit tree in the middle.

Ian - Why would they have a fruit tree there? No one can get to any of the fruit!
It looks like a peach tree I think. I don't know buddy. You're right, there's no way for people to go in the middle there.

Next, we'd take a drop on Scream! A 20 story drop tower.

Then wandered around the park going on anything that looked fun.

It's Batman.

And Wonder Woman.

And Superman too.

Can't forget Daffy and Tweety.

With all our rides done, and the park starting to close down, we all stopped to grab a bite to eat for dinner.

Mmm, and some fried Oreos for dessert! Yum! I have a feeling that we're gaining a little bit of weight this summer.

Thank you Six Flags New England! We've had an absolute blast!

And now that we've stayed a couple night in the RV in Connecticut, we've earned one more state sticker.

It's so small.

But we're on our way! We're getting close to having spent the night in all of the lower 48 states!
